Today some of the most patriotic Americans held a rally in Washington D.C.. They called their rally, “Restoring Honor.”
In their honor, I changed some of the words to one of their favorite rallying songs, “God Bless The U.S.A” by Lee Greenwood, to reflect the real truth they simply will not see (being blind) nor hear (being deaf). (I’m sure Mr. Greenwood wouldn’t mind.)
God Bless The U.S.A.
- And I’m proud to be an American, where only family matters to me. And I’m free to hate all of those, who don’t believe like me. And I gladly stand up and fight all of those, who don’t listen to what I say. ‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land…we stole from the natives.
- When God brought us across the ocean in search of gold and tea, we came upon a race of people who didn’t look too much like me. The heathens didn’t know or obey our God, therefore they were cursed. So we took their land and killed them off, and made their lives much worse.
- And I’m proud to be an American where only family matters to me. And my God will help me fight all of those folks who disagree. And I gladly stand up and proclaim that God is right with me, ‘cause I have a job, a truck and gun, God only loves the USA!

I read the news reports of the event today.
Something Sarah Palin said jumped out and bit me in the common sense and almost made me cry.
She said, “I’ve been asked to speak as the mother of a soldier and I am proud of that distinction. Say what you want to say about me, but I raised a combat vet and you can’t take that away from me.” It was a reference to her son, Track, 20, who served a yearlong deployment in Iraq. (Quoted from the news article above.)
Yes Sirree, these people couldn’t be more proud of their trained soldiers who know how to kill other humans.
Now the great irony:
The LDS/Mormon religion fights the current Obama administration and gives the least approval to Obama. And everyone should know by now that the organizer of the “Restoring Honor” rally was none other than Glenn Beck, a Mormon. Further, the LDS people are more patriotic, per captia, than any other religious group; they are more conservative; and they are more likely to be proud of their sons and daughters being “combat vets” than any other religion.
So,
At the same time Beck’s rally was being staged in Washington D.C., a United States “combat vet” dressed in full battle gear, took an automatic weapon, stood behind the GRAND AMERICA HOTEL in Salt Lake City, Utah and opened fire. He was killed by responding police officers. (LaPlante, McFarland and Whitehurst, “Army vet killed, officer wounded in SLC shootout,” The Salt Lake Tribune, 8-28-10.)
If that’s not irony, I don’t know what is.

The majority of Americans, and the majority of the inhabitants of this world, do not agree with those who attended and supported the “Restoring Honor” rally.
We have to be thankful for that!
The silent majority, who look on those who carry “Jesus Loves You” signs (along with holstered guns) in absolute disillusion, do have a chance to vote in the U.S.A. However, many of this silent majority are so apathetic about politics and what is happening in the world that they seldom get involved in public demonstrations.
What in the world is Beck and his group trying to “restore”?
From the snippets I read, the rally was more like a call on the people to return to God and the things that made America great. (Thus the mocked-up version of God Bless the U.S.A. presented above.)
Oh, this reminds me of what happened to Sheri recently:
So,
We were walking along the sidewalk and there was a group of “Jesus Loves You” aficionados handing out their pamphlets. One of them was blind, but was insistent on being heard and offering his pamphlets to whomever would take one.
Now,
those who know Sheri,
think about her crossing the street (from the side opposite of the group) drinking her bottle of water.
Sheri’s attention was focused on something else as she crossed, and along with raising her bottle of water to take a drink, disaster was destined to happen.
Not disaster…
… hilariousness!
Sheri turned her head just as she stepped up on the curb and bumped into the blind man spilling her water all over him.
That’s right!
Sheri baptized the blind with water.
But anyways,
Back to the rally:
I wish I could reach the silent majority and convince them to vote for whatever candidate the “Tea Party” or the conservatives want. (That’s what our advanced overseers would want for our continued education.) Let them hold the positions of power and law in the world and see what happens. They probably don’t remember that their conservative group held these positions for many years before Obama took office and caused the current economic situation in the U.S.A.
The best thing for them is to see how much they don’t know about what they are actually rallying for.
What honor is the U.S.A trying to restore?
Beck’s rally wants to incorporate God into the government, thus negating the separation of church and state that America ostensibly stood for in its beginning.
For those who care to know what is going to happen in America, just look to history—it is going to repeat itself.
We don’t have to worry about the Mormons taking over any more than the Romans had to worry about the Jews taking over. The LDS church is starting to unravel in its own hypocrisy. It will be nothing like it is today in another 50 years…and the United States of America will be nothing like it currently is, shortly thereafter. Just as the Roman Empire fell and dissolved into a completely different world government and power, so shall the United States of America.
Money is the issue.
China likes money now.
There are a little over 300 million Americans and there are over 1.2 BILLION Chinese.
Do the math.
If China likes money just as much as Americans, then who is going to control money eventually?
Answer: The country who has the greatest amount of free-willed humans wanting money.
It’s always been that way. Research history.
But this is good for the United States. Why? Because Americans are the world’s number one consumers of goods and services. In other words, Americans use their money to consume. China will produce and America will consume. Without America being able to consume, China won’t have anything to produce.
So, the smart Chinese are going to do what their Japanese neighbors did for awhile. The difference between the two countries is the number of people. China simply has more people who want money than Japan does. That’s why Japan will decrease in its economic force and China will increase—each exponentially according to the number of people they have desiring money.
China is going to produce anything and everything that the American consumer wants to consume. And to keep the world’s economy going, the World Bank, along with the Federal Reserve and the rest of the very, very, very few people (mostly men) who have the authority to make money and put it out in the market, will make sure that Americans have money to consume.
Yep, that’s right! In business, the consumer is the most important aspect of the market place. The consumer must have the means and the desire to consume.
This is where it gets good for Americans. They are going to be the world’s protected consumers! As long as it tastes good, rides nice, wears nice, and entertains, Americans want it!
And when Americans get together and hold their rallies…
…the Chinese are going to watch them in wonder, asking themselves, “Who in the hell is this God that these people keep calling on to restore their honor?”
And a Chinese businessman will find a way to produce something that the American God wants to consume, thus enriching himself with money while catering to the will and needs of the consumers.
Glorious Capitalism at its finest!
Americans can ready themselves for another round of stimulus checks soon (you know, the ones Glenn Beck’s own party issued a few years ago).
After weighing what we are going to learn from the next 100 years of our existence upon this earth…
…I can truly say with all sincerity (sort of), God Bless The U.S.A.!

Traveled with Sheri today.
I often find myself wanting to please Sheri’s “worldly” side. She has fun doing things that I don’t, but I cater to those needs to my own chagrin…and to hers.
She has fun, I get depressed because I felt like I had to do them for her, and then we don’t like being around each other. Bless the woman for at least making a good effort to be a support to such a man.
Arrived back home, went for a walk, put up a light fixture in the bathroom, went to the movie and saw Toy Story 3, ate too much, got a gut ache, and was generally displeased with my own fleshly foolishness.
Oh well,
At least I made the Chinese happy!
