Spent much of the day helping put the finishing touches on Julie’s (Rod’s) remodel. The appliances came today but didn’t quite fit. Glen Iverson has been instrumental in the remodel. Whenever we ran into a problem during the renovation, he cracked me up by responding, “Those damn carpenters before us.”
Helped Doriann a bit by registering her car in Utah, transferring her title to Utah and getting her new license plates. We should be ready for her and her children by Sunday. The Thiedes and Doriann’s oldest son, Andrew (who also was of tremendous help in the remodel), will be heading south this weekend to bring that dear family away from a past that still haunts them. What better dichotomy of environment, from Colorado City, Arizona, home of one of the most powerful and largest polygamist communities, to Orem, Utah, home of the one of the most powerful, yet rather small in comparison, religions in the world. Indeed, Doriann’s children will have a wide range of choices to make about their life.
I wish the best for Doriann. Lucky for her, she has some good friends now that belong to … not Mormon Fundamentalism … not LDS/Mormonis … but simply humanity.

Well, we finally have a commitment … at least for the time being … from Mr. Harry Dschaak, a vociferous enemy/critic, who wants to publicly confront me. Harry’s story is the one and only one yet, we’ve added to the MWAW Official site as an opposing view. Many have known Harry throughout the years and I am sure those who have known him will be anticipating the event. :-)

The time, date and venue has been set, but seating is very limited. We are going to limit the number of people, because of the size of the venue, to just 40, giving Harry an opportunity to invite 20, which he has refused … well, I’ll just let you read all the correspondence below. Those who have known and loved (and love) Harry will be the first to be invited. The entire event will be video taped and recorded as a MWAW Radio Show, so no one will miss out. :-)
John Roh has been the contact and go-between in setting up the event. When Harry submitted his story to the MWAW admin, John Roh responded.
Does Harry have courage? I would say yes, admirably so.
But his hate is strong … very strong … and unfortunately, he is fulfilling the only true prophecy that I’ve ever given about his personal life. I told Harry that he would never find personal peace as long as he stayed involved in any way with me and the Marvelous Work and a Wonder®. He claims he has found peace … well, again, we’ll let the inquirer of truth judge that claim for him or herself.

Harry Dschaak personifies, admirably, the courage of hate.
I received a few comments about Harry’s story:
One came from a woman who once loved, trusted and respected Harry, Georgia Ladd. She wrote,
“… in regard to Harry. I called him once, like a year ago, just to hear what he had to say, and you are right , he certainly did not cause me to question in any way the work. In fact, what he told me is not even what he wrote in his experience story. His story has changed since then. whatever, he draws publicity to the work, like you say.“
Another, who has never met Harry wrote,
“I never cared to look at your hate blog before… and good lord it is ridiculous! I just can’t believe that people can get so mad about such a simple concept! Why go to such lengths to discredit you? I don’t get it.”
When this person reads Harry’s correspondence with John Roh and then attends and listens to Harry’s presentation, she will know why he goes to “such lengths to discredit [me].”
I really don’t think Harry will go through with it, but good on him if he does. In fact, he can have all the time he wants. I don’t need to debate or defend anything. The real truth doesn’t need defending and is something that cannot credibly be debated … it just is what it is. However, I’ll answer any question he asks and he is not going to like the answers too much.
It’s funny, but all my enemies and critics are just as human as I am, just as human as all of us, equally. They know everything that I know, they’ve just forgotten. Our deep-seated humanity and foundationalization is the same. Why is it, then, that we can act so differently?
Well, that’s what the game of life is all about, isn’t it? … learning what it is!
