The Marvelous Work and a Wonder® does not limit its scope of insight and revelation of real truth to religion and philosophy. But as its introductory video states, it includes science as an important part of understanding who we are and why we exist.
Science has been chasing the so-called “God particle” for years. Basically, the “God particle” is the scientific conclusion that answers of what and how we are made.
Once one scientist theorized, and then a group of them agreed, that we, and everything else for that matter (pun intended), were made up of particles they called atoms, their value as scientists and the way they spend the majority of their time became less valued by their religious peers and anyone who paid attention to them. (And yes, science meets all the criteria of a religion.)
ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THAT THE MAIN MOTIVATING FACTOR THAT UNDERLIES ALL HUMAN ACTION (including thoughts and reason) IS THE PROMOTION OF SELF WORTH.
The theory that all matter (including us) is made up of atoms stifled the self-worth of the science cult and held its members’ egos captive to the realization that their research was less valuable once they made this conclusive discovery.
So their prophets and revelators, their priests and gurus, had to do something to augment their worth and increase their value among those who grew their food, built their houses, and most important, installed the sewer lines and systems that carried their fecal matter from their rectums to … somewhere … so they wouldn’t have to worry about it anymore … and could concentrate on their search for the “God particle.”
Come on, what scientist ever developed a theory that was “published” in one of their scientific journals that hypothesized exactly what their own excrement was made of and where it went once it left their anuses? :-)
To increase their value among a society that valued them as “learned,” then paid them money for observing things that the rest of us also observe every day but utilize in someway for our present pursuit of happiness, science expanded the theory of the atom to include protons, nuetrons, electrons … then quarks and strings … and now the “God particle.” Once they have agreed upon the “God particle,” then another member of their cult, who want’s to be a Bishop or a Stake President, possibly a published General Authority, will theorize and conclude that the “God particle” consists of sub-God particle substances of which the “God particle” is made and which causes it do what it does. A never-ending cycle of ego-induced minds trying to out-induce each other.
So, like the perpetrators of religion and philosophy, science and their myths, which are called theories, hypotheses, and scientific laws, will continue to change and develop as long as the rest of us value what they produce.
Some claim that science is valuable to us while we go through this experience of mortality because it opens up new ways that help us to individually take advantage of our environment in our personal pursuit of happiness.
What T F?
Show me where and how the time spent trying to figure out why things exist has helped introduce something that has helped an individual find happiness in this world?
Now, let’s differentiate between scientific observation and the development of theories and a human’s desire to solve a problem that is impeding the pursuit of happiness. Many will argue that it was science that led to many of the discoveries and technologies that seem to enhance our lives. But those many would be terribly wrong.
Most discoveries … I could probably state as real truth that ALL discoveries … that have led to advancements in technologies that enhance human life came from mistakes that occurred through experimentation. Experimentation is the implementation of human reason to solve a problem that humans face in their pursuit of happiness. Just because the scientific cult takes credit for something that seems to enhance our existence as humans, doesn’t mean that one of its members discovered it.
Let’s take penicillin, for example.
Alexander Fleming didn’t have any idea what penicillin was. He had instructed his lab assistant to clean up a mess he had made in a bunch of Petri dishes. The assistant, who was NOT a scientist, didn’t get around to cleaning things up for a few days, and when he did, the assistant noticed some unusual growth in a couple of the dishes. Instead of throwing the dishes away, the assistant thought the growth was cool and showed some of his co-workers, also part of the cleaning crew at the hospital where Fleming worked. Another egotistical doctor saw the cleaning crew wasting time and he ordered them back to work, but not before he saw what had captivated their attention. It was the other doctor … don’t know his name … who showed Fleming what was occurring when Fleming came back to work.
Now that there’s the real truth; doesn’t matter what the scientific journals state, that’s what happened. So who gets credit for the discovery? I would vote for a lazy lab assistant who didn’t clean up properly.
What I’m saying here is that sitting around and spending buku bucks theorizing about why things are the way they are is a waste of time. Scientists should be spending their time solving problems, human problems; i.e., things that get in the way of our pursuit of happiness.
How much money, time, and effort is being spent wondering why things are the way they are, when we could hire a couple of uneducated members of a cleaning crew who use the things that we are wondering about every day and probably have a better idea of how to pursue happiness than the scientists they work for?
Ever learning, never coming to the knowledge of the truth.
Things are the way they are because they just are. It’s silly and a waste of time to figure out what is, when upon figuring it out, which we won’t, it doesn’t change anything. Things will still go on being what they are, what they have been, and what they will always be.
When the scientific cult gets involved and starts changing how things are, how they were, and how they always will be, that’s when things start getting messed up. It’s not the cleaning crew that is responsible for acid rain, it’s the scientists.
The proper way to use our reason is to incorporate our desire for happiness into our desire to utilize our environment to experience this happiness and work with things as they are and not try to change them, but work with them in a symbiotic relationship of existence and the pursuit of happiness.
Science can continue to search for and theorize all they want about how and why things exist in the Universe. And while they are wasting their time wondering, those who truly experience happiness will be like little children who only see things as they are, and have little worry about why they are. Watch a child interact with its environment. The child does not try and figure out why the big rock is in the way. The child’s sole purpose is to figure out how to have fun with the rock by climbing on it, running around it, or jumping off of it.
Please, you learned scientists, call the MWAW Show and let’s have a friendly debate on the value of all your scientific research … it would be a very interesting show. But remember, you’d be discussing what you don’t know with me, who knows things as they are, as they were, and as they always will be.
And now I’ll reveal why things are the way they are, the way they were, and the way they will always be:
BECAUSE THEY JUST ARE!
Sincerely,
A member of the cleaning crew. :-)
