What Have I Taught Myself?
Having read The Book of Mormon enough times to recognize that the major points of instruction were the constant warnings against pride, the infiltration of the governments and churches by secret combinations and the Ministry of Jesus Christ to the other sheep [John10:16]. I had reached the point were I understood the message clearly and wanted more. I felt cheated that The Sealed Portion (TSP) was being withheld from me because of others lack of attention to the unsealed portion as corroborated in the following quote:
Spencer W. Kimball said: "I have had many people ask me through the years, 'When do you think we will get the balance of the Book of Mormon records?' And I have said, 'How many in the congregation would like to read the sealed portion of the plates?' And almost always there is a 100-percent response. And then I ask the same congregation, 'How many of you have read the part that has been opened to us?' And there are many who have not read the Book of Mormon, the unsealed portion. We are quite often looking for the spectacular, the unobtainable. I have found many people who want to live the higher laws when they do not live the lower laws" (The Teachings of Spencer W. Kimball, ed. Edward L. Kimball [1982], 531–32).
My mind kept suggesting that TSP should have come forth by now. By the time you finish reading this document you will understand why I had this nagging prompting.
Isaiah 29:11 -And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
Daniel 12:4,9 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Alma 12:9 -And now Alma began to expound these things unto him, saying: It is given unto many to know the mysteries of God; nevertheless they are laid under a strict command that they shall not impart only according to the portion of his word which he doth grant unto the children of men, according to the heed and diligence which they give unto him. 10 And therefore, he that will harden his heart, the same receiveth the lesser portion of the word [the unsealed portion of the plates that were 1/3 of the total record, the abridgement of Mormon]; and he that will not harden his heart, to him is given the greater portion of the word [the sealed portion comprising the other 2/3 of the records, the abridgement of Moroni], until it is given unto him to know the mysteries of God until he know them in full. 11 And they that will harden their hearts, to them is given the lesser portion of the word until they know nothing concerning his mysteries; and then they are taken captive by the devil, and led by his will down to destruction. Now this is what is meant by the chains of hell.
Ether 4:1 - And the Lord commanded the brother of Jared to go down out of the mount from the presence of the Lord, [just as Moses did] and write the things which he had seen; and they were forbidden to come unto the children of men [the first set of stone tablets] until after that he should be lifted up upon the cross; and for this cause did king Mosiah keep them, that they should not come unto the world until after Christ should show himself unto his people. 2 And after Christ truly had showed himself unto his people he commanded that they should be made manifest. 4 Behold, I have written upon these plates the very things which the brother of Jared saw; and there never were greater things made manifest than those which were made manifest unto the brother of Jared. 5 Wherefore the Lord hath commanded me to write them; and I have written them. And he commanded me that I should seal them up; and he also hath commanded that I should seal up the interpretation thereof; wherefore I have sealed up the interpreters, according to the commandment of the Lord. 6 For the Lord said unto me: They shall not go forth unto the Gentiles until the day that they shall repent of their iniquity, and become clean before the Lord.
Feasting on the Words of Christ Revealed the Pattern of Happiness
2 Nephi 2:25 – Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.

2 Nephi 25: 26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children [and we] may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. [unhappiness]
2 Nephi 31:20 - Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father [our Creators]: Ye shall have eternal life.
2 Nephi 32:3, 5 - Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost [common sense]; wherefore, they speak the words of Christ. Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do. 5 For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.

John 14:26 - But the Comforter, whichis the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Moroni 10: 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
My experiences with organized religion left me wondering where did Christ disappear to in the talks, testimonies, manuals, and lessons? I got to study a lot about the lives of church leaders and church history but were was the feasting on the words of Christ? Members were always quoting church "authorities" and church authorities were reading off of telepromters even though the scriptural mandate was, "as they shall be directed by the Spirit. And the Spirit shall be given unto you by the prayer of faith; and if ye receive not the Spirit ye shall not teach." The third member of the Godhead was all but forgotten In fact, the only times I heard mention of the Holy Ghost were at baptisms. I never heard anyone testify of how they were grateful for the relationship they had with the Holy Ghost.
TSP 29:7 – But having His Spirit to be with you meaneth that you have the ability to communicate with those in the spirit world, which is another dimension of this world I which we live, as it hath been previously explained unto you. And the spirits that are assigned to support us and inspire us and give us counsel throughout our lives, can only do so when we listen to their promptings and follow their gentle persuasions, which persuasions are felt by our conscience. 60 …And now, I say unto you that there is no man, or woman, or leader of prophet, or priest, or apostle; no there is no one who hath any more privilege of power to communicate with the Spirit of God and receive His will and revelation concerning us, that the power that hath been given unto all of us by the Father. [Romans 2:11] 70 Oh, ye wicked and corrupt church. Know ye not that ye are leading the souls of many down to hell? Know ye not that it is an abomination before God to put one man above another and claim that it is possible that one man hath more authority and right to receive the revelations of God than another?

TSP 32:16 – And what I, the Lord, have spoken, I have spoken and excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my words shall not pass away, but all shall be fulfilled, whether by my own voice or the voice of my servants it is the same.
3 Nephi 23:1 - And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah.
Mormon 8:23 - Search the prophecies of Isaiah. Behold, I cannot write them. Yea, behold I say unto you, that those saints who have gone before me, who have possessed this land, shall cry, yea, even from the dust will they cry unto the Lord; and as the Lord liveth he will remember the covenant which he hath made with them.
Had I listened to the commandment to ponder the teachings of Isaiah, I would have found in the very first chapter of the writings attributed to him why the words of Christ were not found in the organized religion I belonged to. In Chapter One the abominations of organized religion are laid out in plainness but hidden in plain sight from the stiffnecked and uncontrite. The evidences of the plaintiff are listed as in a court case against a defendant. When I found this work I became a member a juror. I had to choose whether to ignore the evidence and exercise willful blindness to the conditions I found myself in or admit that I had been deceived the whole of my life.
Isaiah 1:11 - To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. 12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? 13 Bring no more vain oblations [outward ordinances]; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and Sabbaths [appointed day of worship], the calling of assemblies [church meetings], I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting [conferences, broadcasts]. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts [ward dinners] my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. "Remember, it is by the 'power of the Holy Ghost' that a person can know the truth of all things. The 'Holy Ghost' is the 'power' by which the advanced human beings (angels) of this Universe speak. It is the power of real truth. It is the power of Christ. It is the 'words of Christ.' It is your common sense unaffected by the precepts of the world."-Christopher Marc Nemelka
What is John referring to in (1 John 2:27) when he states 'ye need not that any man teach you… ?' 'But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.'
"When we listen to our common sense, after we have become like a little child, obtained a broken heart and a contrite spirit, and seek to love others as we want to be loved, there isn't a man alive that can teach us anything, UNLESS, his explanations are of such plainness that even a child could understand. And then his words are not teaching us anything, but bringing to our remembrance what we already knew.
We are able to exercise our common sense/Holy Ghost because of the figurative 'anointing' we all received in common. Remember what the 'anointing' means? We were all anointed by our Creator to be Priests and Priestesses in His kingdom, which literally means to act in the holy priesthood. This 'anointing' was the creation of our spirits and their embodiment in perfect bodies that resided on a perfected world in a perfect solar system, which is part of a galaxy belonging to another Creator, with whom we, on this earth, have nothing to do—our Father's Father.
By being thus 'anointed,' we learned all we would ever need to know of what the "perfect" existence was all about. We learned this by experiencing it and having the memories of those experiences embedded in the very essence of who we are. Therefore, if we listen close enough and properly, we will hear that we indeed have no need of any man to teach us, for we have already been taught by 'him who abideth' in us.
John, of course, is speaking figuratively of the Holy Ghost revealing all things to us without the need of any one to teach us." -Christopher Marc Nemelka
If history repeated would anyone notice? Well, John Jerdon noticed the parallels in religious history.
EXODUS 34: 1-2 (JST) [given to the Jews]
1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two other tables of stone, like unto the first, and I will write upon them also, the words of the law, according as they were written at the first on the tables which thou brakest; but it shall not be according to the first, for I will take away the priesthood out of their midst; therefore my holy order, and the ordinances thereof, shall not go before them; for my presence shall not go up in their midst, lest I destroy them. 2 But I will give unto them the law as at the first, but it shall be after the law of a carnal commandment; for I have sworn in my wrath, that they shall not enter into my presence, into my rest, in the days of their pilgrimage. Therefore do as I have commanded thee, and be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai.
Doctrine & Covenants 105:3-6,10 [given to the Mormons]
3 But behold, they have not learned to be obedient to the things which I required at their hands, but are full of all manner of evil, and do not impart of their substance, as becometh saints, to the poor and afflicted among them; 4 And are not united according to the union required by the law of the celestial kingdom; 5 And Zion cannot be built up unless it is by the principles of the law of the celestial kingdom; otherwise I cannot receive her unto myself. 6 And my people must needs be chastened until they learn obedience, if it must needs be, by the things which they suffer. 10 That they themselves may be prepared, and that my people may be taught more perfectly, and have experience, and know more perfectly concerning their duty, and the things which I require at their hands.
TSP 11:37 – And I have mentioned the lower [earthly] priesthood and its authority, which authority giveth unto the children of men to administer the outward ordinances of the church, which priesthood I have suffered to be established in the church for the edification and instructions of my people. 86 And in mortality ye shall be given the law of the gospel that shall be taught unto you through the ministrations of the holy prophets and the scriptures that I shall cause to be written for the benefit of the children of men; and also by the words of my own. 57 And those who are led by the Lord, or who receive his words directly from his own mouth, do not need these leaders. But sadly, the majority of the children of men trust in the arm of the flesh. And they find more comfort in words that are given unto them according to the ministrations of the flesh, than they do when they are wrought upon by the Holy Spirit of God. 63 And because the people look to their leaders for this inspiration, they are led away from the true commandments of the gospel. For they are like unto the church of Jerusalem [The Jews] in the days of Lehi, in that they look to the commandments of the church and their leaders before they look to the commandments of God.
TSP 29:51 – Therefore, the children of Israel became afraid of the Lord and did not want to speak with him directly. And they sent Moses to speak with him, saying: Moses, thou art the chosen one of God, and we have received your counsel through your servant Aaron. And it is easy to understand his words. Therefore, we shall accept thee and sustain thee as our prophet, and through the ministrations of Aaron, receive thy words. Now let it be thee who speaketh unto God on our behalf.
TSP 26:11- And when the Lord calleth a prophet to preach repentance unto the children of men, this prophet doth not set himself up as a leader among the people, nor doth this prophet instruct the people that only through him, can they receive revelation and inspiration from God. 12 For this is not the intent of the Father in calling a prophet for the people. For the Father loveth all of His children, and would that all of them know Him and receive the mysteries of His kingdom in the way that he hath set forth by the ministrations of the Spirit World. 13 And a true prophet of God would teach the people the commandments of God that they must obey in order to be worthy of the ministrations of the Spirit of God. And if the people repent of their wickedness and begin to obey the law of the gospel, then they shall be worthy of knowing all of the mysteries of God. 14 And if they know all of the mysteries of God, for what purpose would they then need a prophet? Yes, for what purpose would they need a ruler, or a priest, to teach these things unto them? And I say unto you, that they would not need a ruler, or a priest, or a prophet, or even a church in which to learn these things. 15 For they would already have the spirit of Christ, which spirit is received by keeping the words of Christ. And if they have the spirit of Christ, then they become prophets, seers, and revelators in and of themselves.
TSP 9:34 – And now my beloved brothers and sisters, what efficacy do ye suppose this calling and authority of the priesthood hath in the kingdom of God? 35 Behold, before ye are allowed to enter into the kingdom of God ye are required to have the capacity and the understanding of living according to the commandments of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and have proven yourselves worthy to live by this standard forever. Therefore, what need do ye think ye will have of a church? And what need will there be for a holy priesthood if there is no church established among you? 36 And those of you who belong to the Holy Order of the Son of God, of what need will there be to have prophets and apostles, yea, even the scriptures that teach you the commandments by which ye should live, when ye already belong to an Order of men and women that knoweth and liveth by these things? 37 Therefore, I say unto you, that the priesthoods are suffered by the Lord so that he might teach his children his words in a way that they might understand them. And these priesthoods are necessary for the order of his church, which church only pertaineth to the children of men in the flesh. 38 And in the spirit world there is also an order established, even a church, which is under the priesthood authority of the Holy Ghost, who administereth unto the children of men in the flesh, and also unto those in the spirit world according to the ministrations of this priesthood. 39 Behold, there is save one true church of God, which is the church of the Lamb of God, who is Jesus Christ. And any church that doth not teach the words of Christ, or the words that he taught the people when he came down among them [the Sermon on the Mount-Matthew 5,6,7 & 3 Nephi 12,13,14], is not the church of the Lamb of God. And these churches that teach not the words of the Lamb of God do not have the priesthood authority to act in the name of God according to the commandments that He hath given unto the children of men through his Son, Jesus Christ. 40 And this is what Jesus meant when he commanded the people to call the church in his name saying: Therefore, whatsoever ye shall do, ye shall do it in my name: therefore ye shall call the church in my name. 41 And many believe that this meant that the Lord would only sanction a church if it was called after his name. For behold, there are many churches built up that are called after the name of Jesus Christ, nevertheless, they are not built upon his gospel, which are the commandments that he gave unto his disciples as I have explained it unto you. 42 For behold, the Lord commanded the church to be called in his name, which signifieth that it doeth the things that he hath shown it to do. For the name of the Lord hath reference to his works, and it is customary among the Jews, as it is among us, that our works constitute the name by which we are known. 46 And ye shall have this record [the Book of Mormon] and also the record of the Jews [the Bible] as two testimonies of the teachings of Christ. And if any church teacheth more or less than Jesus taught the people, ye shall surely know that these churches are called after his holy name and not his name as I have explained it to you. 47 And whosoever preacheth the words of Christ hath the blessing and authority of the Holy Priesthood of God. And whosoever teacheth more or less than the words of Christ, though they might have the priesthood conferred upon them, they have not the sanctification of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, have no power in their priesthood [amen to the priesthood of that man]. For behold, many are called but few are chosen. 50 For any man or woman that obeyeth the gospel of Jesus Christ as he hath given it unto us, hath the priesthood of God and can act in the name of God according to the words of Christ.
Psalm 82:6 - I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Common Sense tells me: "If I AM a god then what in the hell do I need a church or religion for?"
Alma 26:22 - Yea, he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be given to reveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.
Common Sense tells me that no where in this verse am I told that I have to receive the mysteries through a religious authority as the rest of these references also testify.
TSP 57:37 – And the word which ye hear is not mine, but the word of the Father who hath sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance [John 14:26] whatsoever I have said unto you.
TSP 29:27 – And if the children of men would sanctify themselves and live according to the covenant of the Lord, ten they should have no need of a prophet, or apostles or leaders to lead them. And this was the intent of the Lord for the house of Israel after they had been delivered out of the hands of the Egyptians.
TSP 18:38 – Behold, all religions, all doctrines, all principles, all beliefs, all scriptures, all writing, all holy men, all holy prophets, all institutions, all churches, all governments, all priesthoods, all laws, all sealings, all ordinances, all sacrifices, all traditions, all customs, yea, even everything that is done upon this earth among the children of men, are of no effect and have no power our of this world. In other words, they mean nothing in the kingdom of God.
"No scripture, no prophet, no book, no religion, no God, no commandment- nothing outside of yourself can "guide" you to the peace and harmony that is your "subconscious routine" of emotional stability. True prophets can only help you understand the premise, purpose, and function of this "GUIDE". Everything else is up to you." -Christopher Marc Nemelka
"The whole purpose of my position and this work is to help people come to a better understanding of themselves and where their personal happiness and desires fit into the full spectrum of humanity." -Christopher Marc Nemelka
"A truly happy person does not inquiry into anything outside the self. A truly happy person has no concern for anything outside of the self, for is it not in the self that true happiness is experienced? :-) A truly happy person respects and embraces the human condition and rejoices in the fact that whatever condition exists outside of the self, it doesn't have the power to take away personal true happiness." -Christopher Marc Nemelka
So what did my common sense reveal to me based upon my previous experiences with the organized religion my parents chose to raise me in without allowing me to questions its doctrines? It testified of the same thing that the words of Christ and the true prophets have!
(see John 17:21-23 below ) Since the Father and the Son are one and the Holy Ghost is the third within the Godhead then how can religion deduct that only blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is unpardonable? These verses never mention the Holy Ghost being one with the Father and the Son; they mention us being one with them and us being one with our fellow man, which is the fulfillment to the two great commandments, which all of the laws of the prophets are supposed to be based. Common sense tells me that if I become one with the Father and the Son then I join the "Godhead" and Psalm 82:6 makes a lot more sense. There are only three members according to their doctrine that are in the Godhead. So where does that now leave the Holy Ghost that religion believes in? The only way the Holy Ghost can still be a part of the Godhead is if we are the Holy Ghost; just as this Marvelous Work and a Wonder teaches. It is all just common sense but it is hidden in plain sight from those who deny the Holy Ghost (common sense).
John 17:21 - That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
1 Nephi 3:7 - And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
TSP 13:46-50 – And according to the words of the brother of Jared, even according to the words of my ancestors, and also according to my own, when the children of men attempt to pattern their governments after the pattern that hath been revealed unto them, then peace existeth upon the earth. 47 But if they stray from the pattern that hath been shown unto them, then there are wars and chaos and famine and all manner of destruction among them. 48 And the reason why they stray from the pattern shown unto them, is because they reject the words of the holy prophets, or they offend the Spirit, in that it withdraweth itself from them. And when the Spirit withdraweth from them, they have no ministrations to teach them the proper way that a government should work. 49 And when this pure form of government hath been established among them by those in authority, even those who have listened to the voice of the prophets, or who have the Holy Ghost as their constant guide, then peace and prosperity reign among them, evensomuch that there existeth no poor or needy among them. 50 And in this state, the Nephites and also the Lamanites found themselves many times. Yea, when they were righteous and listened to the prophets that the Lord suffered to come unto them, then they were happy and there were no contentions and disputations among them, and they had all things in common among them [Acts 2:44-45]; therefore there were not rich and poor, bond and free, but they were all made free, and partakers of the heavenly gift. And this according to the record of my father.
TSP 46:55 – Bring unto me of your poor and your hungry and your naked and your sick and afflicted and I shall feed them with that which shall fill them, even that they shall not hunger again, nor shall they thirst anew, neither shall they be naked. 56. For I shall give unto them the kingdom of my Father wherein they shall live forever and have all things provided for them in all that they need for happiness.
Common sense asks: "Is not following the Pattern of happiness the fruition of the WUF Plan?"
[Excerpts from Human Reality: Who We are and Why We Exist ~ Chapter 18]
"In our imperfect schools, we are forced to follow the prerequisites and requirements of specified "credit hours" in order to obtain a degree or diploma. But in the "school of life," where true reality is the only course of study, students can graduate and receive their diploma whenever they have learned the overall vital lesson intended by life's schooling. At any point during the course of study, the students can demonstrate their aptitude of understanding by taking a "final test" to see if they have gained the knowledge expected from the lessons. If they pass the test, then school is adjourned and we are finally sent home to enjoy all that we learned. . At any time during the "school year," we can ask to take the final test; and if we answer it honestly, we can end the rigors and daily grind of attending school. The only thing that prevents us from doing this is our free will.
There is one catch to ending school early: WE MUST ALL DO IT TOGETHER. No one in our "graduating class" can be left behind. As a group, we must be willing to take the final test together and answer the questions honestly. We can do this by helping each other learn the lessons.
We can study together and set up a schoolroom atmosphere that allows even the slowest learner to understand the answers to the questions. In other words, together, we must set up a world in which we are able to explore who we are. We must help each other find our individuality so that we can be happy with whom we have chosen to be.
The first thing we have to do to "graduate early" is to set up an atmosphere of learning where each of us can equally focus all of our concentration on our lessons instead of on our physical struggle to survive. Once the appropriate learning environment is set up, the lessons we learn will lead us to self-actualization, or knowing who we are. This will then afford us the opportunity to live according to our individual desires of happiness.
This "atmosphere" requires that we unite as a world and breakdown the nations and borders, races and cultures, and belief systems and opinions that divide us and isolate us from each other [do unto others as we would have them do unto us]. If we cannot unite and help each other amicably, we will never be able to answer the questions correctly. Consequently, we will need to wait for our instructors to give us the answers."
Summation: Stop trying to figure out what has already been proven to be the only true plan/pattern of lasting happiness. Just follow the directions on the recipe! And Don't worry! Be Happy! For all you can be is happy when the truth has set you free!!!
[ADDENDUM]
How I found this work
One day I decided to pick up my copy of the Doctrine and Covenants and study it as it was to be the next course of study for Gospel Doctrine (LDS Sunday School). In the very first section I read:
14 And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people; 15 For they have stayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant; 16 They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.
I had recently viewed the photo of Thomas Monson, current President of the LDS Church breaking "sacred" covenants by exchanging "the Patriarchal Grip" openly in public with U.S. President, George W. Bush [See also here]. My thoughts were directed to as why the LDS church kept changing aspects of the temple ceremonies as in 2005 they changed the protocol for "washings and anointings". I began to search the Internet to find out what exactly was the most recent change and an explanation for the change. To my surprise one of the links available for me to research was Sacred not Secret, the Official Guide to Understanding the LDS Temple Endowment.
My first thought was as to who was the source of the book, thinking it must be someone unfriendly to the church. I read a description of the book and it did not seem malicious even though it did discuss things members where told by church authorities not to discuss outside the temple. But it occurred to me that the highest authority in the church had not kept things within the walls of the temple so I felt validated in checking out the book. Needless to say, the book blew me away. It revealed many more changes that had been made to the original temple ceremonies revealed by Joseph Smith that most members would never had the privilege of knowing about.
My common sense tells me that if the ordinances were teaching tools and the "tool" had been changed so many times, then D&C Section 1 reaffirmed to me that the modern LDS was in a state of apostasy (corrupted teachings), to include the man at the very top.
Christopher stated:
"The proof that this MWAW can do this is proven in the way that it has changed the attitude and perception of the LDS members who have read the books associated with this work. Each of them once believed that they had the "power of the priesthood" and the ability to receive revelation directly from God. Because of this work, they no longer believe this. Because of this work, they have become less biased, more full of love and acceptance for all other humans. Because of this work, they have been set FREE!"
As an LDS member, I did not have eyes to see things that were hidden in plain sight (i.e.-3 Nephi 9:20). Something that is supposed is not real, it is imagined. There right in their very scriptures in D&C 121:34–40 which describes the proper use of priesthood it says, "We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion. Hence many are called, but few are chosen." Not until I studied the Q&A site and came across the following post - Priesthood Authority did Joseph's choice of words stand out. They stood out because a true messenger, Christopher Nemelka put them in bold print. I had read those words many times and it never clicked.
I have a question for LDS "priesthood authorities". If one can only receive the Holy Ghost (the ability to know the truth in all things) through ordinances then how is it possible for one investigating the church that has not received these so-called "ordinances of salvation" to receive confirmation of the truthfulness of its church as scripted by missionaries to follow the admonition in Moroni 10:3-5?
Here is another taste of the fruit of this work. The delicious taste of self-empowerment that this work and its servants serve to those who choose to join the Wedding Feast:
1 John 2: 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Karaoke time: "so often times it happens that we live our lives in chains, and we never knew we had the keys"... "I will sing this victory song",

Here in the MWAW, like a famous hotel chain, "we'll leave THE LIGHT on for you" and those that are lead to its doors. You won't have to sit in a dark endowment room in an LDS temple waiting for messengers from Father and the lights to be turned on.
Worship how, where, and what you may but as for me, I'll "enter into the kingdom (happiness) of my own choosing.", which happens to be that last instruction in the original endowment.
And that's the story of how JJ got a grip on reality within his own holy of holies/temple because Thomas Monson lost the grip given him within a stone temple. |
