The Bible has caused and still causes more problems for the human race than any other book. It is a deception of unprecedented means and power. Although by itself, the Bible is just written words presented as a story, it has been used and is used to control more people than any other thing ever invented by mortals during the history of Earth.
Today, consider what would happen if the Bible disappeared from off the face of the earth, not only in form, but from the thoughts and minds of billions of Hebrews, Christians, Muslims, and all the other sect offshoots that use the Bible as a source of guidance and inspiration. If everyone woke up tomorrow and there were no Bible or reference thereto, humanity, without changing anything else, would begin to change for the better.
Consider the problems happening in the Middle East. Having awakened without any remembrance of who their ancestors were, and without any point of reference about religion or any god, or even that any type of god existed, what would the Jewish and Palestinian people think about their current situation? Remember, neither Judaism nor Islam would exist, not literally, not in their minds.
“Why am I wearing this funny hat (a Kippah) to cover my head?” wondered the male Jew.
“Why am I wearing this piece of cloth (Burqa) that covers my entire face so no one can see me?” wondered the Muslim woman.
Neither would know or understand why each was wearing these articles of clothing. Keep in mind, there would be no one around to explain why they were wearing these things, as the entire concept of Judaism and Islam, and everything about their traditions and precepts, would not exist anywhere in their memory. What would they be fighting about? What would they think about the border that separates Israel from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank?
“What are we fighting for?”
“Why are we separated by walls, fences, landmines, and boundaries that separate us by an invisible line called a border?”
“Why do we call this land, Israel? Why do we call that land, Palestine?”
“Why do the people on this side of the imaginary line, in the area called Israel, have so much food, clothing, housing, healthcare, education, and economic opportunity, while those on that side, have very little? Why?”
In a way, these people would become like little children, having forgotten everything that they were taught about Judaism and Islam since they were born. Consider what a Jewish little child does when parents try to put a kippah on the child’s head for the first time. The child struggles with it and keeps taking it off. The same thing would happen if Muslim parents tried to cover a little child’s entire face with a burqa. Little children would not put up with such nonsense. Why?
Let’s take a look at the exact verses, there are only two, in the Quran from which the entire concept of wearing hijab or burka are taken:
In Chapter 24:
“Say to the believing men that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts. This is better for them. Say to the believing women that: they should cast down their glances and guard their private parts …”
In Chapter 33:
“O Prophet! Say to your wives, your daughters, and the women of the believers that: they should let down upon themselves their jalabib (loose outer garment).”
It is on these TWO verses that the entire Muslim dress code is established. However, each Muslim sect has its own way of interpreting these verses. Some Islamic sects don’t require their members to wear anything on their head.
In some ancient Islamic sects, and in some modern Islamic states and countries, one can receive severe punishment for not complying with the Allah-mandated dress code. But where did some of these ideas really come from?
Consider this popular Arab head dress:
The red colored peiece is called “Shemagh.” The black colored peiece is called “iqal.” The white dress is called “thobe.”
The Real Truth about this traditional Arab clothing is simple and should be obvious:
It’s very hot in most Arab countries, most of which are covered with hot, dry deserts. The white clothing (thobe) reflects the sun and keeps a person cool. The wind blows the sand around a lot. The Shemagh not only keeps the sun off of the person, but it can be pulled across the face to keep the sand out of the face. The iqal is the simplest to explain: it holds the Shemagh on the head when the wind blows. Anciently, before the Bible, before the Quran, this was the ONLY reason why men wore this type of clothing in the Arab world.
Today, many Arab monarchies and wealthy businessmen are known for their unique dress. Not only are these men complying with what they believe is an Allah-mandated dress code, but their economic success is displayed in how white, clean, new, and wonderful their articles of clothing are worn.
The philosophies and traditions of men mingled with scripture.
EVERY religious ordinance, statute, and precept can be traced to a time when none existed. At some point, each was invented. Knowing the Real Truth about each of these religious concepts, if considered, would aid a person in coming to a knowledge of what really happened then and what is really happening now.
Another more intimate and disgusting religious practice is male and female circumcision where the male’s foreskin and the female’s clitoris is removed. Why? How did this religious practice begin? The answer is simple and disturbing:
It is natural and common for young boys and girls to masturbate.
By stroking the foreskin over the penis, the sexual intensity is increased by the boy’s hand. Removed, there is nothing for the boy’s hand to use, except the hand, to simulate intercourse and stimulate an orgasm. When adolescents and adults, were caught masturbating and having an orgasm, the act and the orgasmic experience seemed to be uncontrollable. If there was an act that one could not control, then that act was determined by “priests and prophets” to be something from the devil. It could not be from God. When one has an orgasm, one seems to be possessed by the way that the body responds.
In the past, very, very few women, if any, had an orgasm when they had intercourse with a man. Many times the woman didn’t choose to have intercourse. The act was all about the man having an orgasm … and it doesn’t take too long for a man to orgasm. Most of the time, women would masturbate in private to experience any type of orgasm. When men observed women masturbating and reacting to the self-stimulation, especially when the woman experienced an intense orgasm that no man could give or had given her, the men were convinced that this was the devil’s way of deceiving the woman and possessing her body and soul. The solution was simple: cut out the thing women touched and stimulated that caused the reaction.
Circumcision is an extreme example. But again, EVERY religious ordinance, statute, and precept, of any kind, in ANY religion, can be traced to a source of deception and control. So when writing came along, and the philosophies of men began to be mingled with scripture, the ordinances, statues, and precepts increased, not only in number, but in control over a person’s mind and actions.
Most Jewish, Christian, and Muslim ordinances, statutes, and precepts can be traced to the Bible. Written by men to control other men, and to especially control women, because of the Bible and the religious ideas that it has produced, “an exceedingly great many do stumble, yea, insomuch that Satan hath great power over them.” (This is an exact quote from the Book of Mormon about the Bible. Keep in mind that “Satan” is the symbolic representation of mortal human nature.)
In the early 1800’s, had anyone stood up to the American Christians and pointed out the things about the Bible in the way that we have and will continue to do, that one would have been killed. (And yes, the one who did was eventually killed. Joseph Smith’s Book of Mormon clearly condemns the Bible as that which that makes “an exceedingly great many … stumble.”)
The Muslim child learns corrupt and divisive Islamic ordinances, statutes, and precepts line upon line, precept upon precept. Children are deceived little by little. This is how religious leaders teach the people. Ironically, many modern Christian religions teach that this is how God teaches his people:
“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.” (See reference below.)
This is because most are deceived by the Bible and by the way that its precepts are presented to them by “scornful men, that rule this people.”
This corrupt idea of God teaching people in this way comes from, of course, the Bible, in the book of Isaiah. When it is read to an unknowing congregation of people, this errant precept is completely taken out of context. The “priest and the prophet … ye scornful men, that rule this people,” to whom the message was intended, are never mentioned. One line taken out of the original Greek version corrupted the entire message. We’ve put this one line back into the context below, from its original Greek, as shown in bold italic:
“But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. Whom shall he [referring to the priest or the prophet] teach knowledge? and whom shall he [referring to the priest or the prophet] make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts [i.e., little children]. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he [referring to the priest or the prophet] speak to this people. To whom he [referring to the priest or the prophet] said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear him unless it was the word of the Lord. But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”
ONLY THEN did the author of Isaiah’s prose include the distinction between the “priest and prophet” and the true “word of the Lord”:
“Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.” (Isaiah 28:14)
EVERY religious leader, of any kind, of any sect, of any religion, is one of these “scornful men.” None have a clue about Real Truth. They teach their lies and deceptions line upon line, precept on precept, here a little, and there a little (from Primary to a High Priest Group meeting), causing the people to stumble and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Having been taught in this manner, with this traditional pedagogy, people cannot learn any other way. Nor will they accept anything told to them UNLESS it is presented as the “word of the Lord.”
This is how the Marvelous Work and a Wonder® is forced to teach the Real Truth to the people. We started with the Book of Mormon … here a little (the lesser portion) … and then we gave them The Sealed Portion of the Book of Mormon … there a little (the greater portion). We continued with other books (see I Nephi 13:39) … Line upon line, precept upon precept until we have undeceived every little child that has ever been misled and deceived by priests and prophets and their ordinances, statutes, and precepts …
Ye scornful men … and women!
